Built by a seller, for sellers.

Teclazo is a keyword research tool for Mercado Libre — the largest e-commerce platform in Latin America. We built it because the tools that existed were opaque, expensive, and required a sales call to even see pricing.

The data

Our keyword database comes from crawling Mercado Libre's autocomplete API across all 18 markets — the same signals ML uses to suggest searches to buyers. We've collected 18.6M unique keywords and 135M keyword-product appearances.

The method

Keyword volume is estimated using a depth/strength/prominence model derived from autocomplete tree structure — the same approach behind MerchantWords for Amazon. It's not perfect, but it correlates with real buyer demand better than any public signal ML exposes.

The mission

Self-serve keyword research for LATAM sellers at a fair price. No sales team, no annual contracts. Start free, upgrade when you need more data. Cancel anytime.

The team

Teclazo is a small, focused team. We're not venture-backed — we're profitable and growing. We speak Spanish and understand the LATAM market from the inside.

What does "Teclazo" mean?

Teclazo comes from the Spanish tecla (a keyboard key) plus the suffix -azo, which marks a strong, decisive strike. The idiom "dar en la tecla" means to hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what the tool does: it helps you hit the right keys — the right keywords — on Mercado Libre. It's pronounced teh-KLA-so.
